Although you can attend the sessions at any point in your pregnancy, between 24 and 32 weeks is ideal. This course (comprised of 3 classes) will provide a review of childbirth, the negative effects of fear on your birthing body and self-conditioning techniques to bring you into an optimal state of relaxation during birth - so that pain and tension are decreased or even eliminated. You will learn how to have a positive view of birth and to trust your birthing body. We'll use deep relaxation, self-hypnosis and special breathing techniques to help you achieve this state of calmness and decreased awareness of discomfort during your birthing time.
Prenatal classes taught by an expert instructor
Both venues are available and clients are encouraged to choose which one fits your schedule best. There are benefits to both in-person and online classes. In-person classes allow for greater ability to see the hands-on/visual aids I use in the class while online classes allow clients to be in their own home and perhaps find this option fits their schedule better.
