Although you can attend the sessions at any point in your pregnancy, between 24 and 32 weeks is ideal. This course (comprised of 3 classes) will provide a review of childbirth, the negative effects of fear on your birthing body and self-conditioning techniques to bring you into an optimal state of relaxation during birth - so that pain and tension are decreased or even eliminated. You will learn how to have a positive view of birth and to trust your birthing body. We'll use deep relaxation, self-hypnosis and special breathing techniques to help you achieve this state of calmness and decreased awareness of discomfort during your birthing time.
I offer in-person classes only (except July) since In-person classes allow for greater ability to see the hands-on/visual aids used, to better engage with each other and to benefit from an easier communication with me and the other attendees.
